Wood's game was impressive game, but the 2nd Cub was even more impressive. The dude threw pitched in both games of a doubleheader and pitched shut-outs in both. That will never be done again.

I remember Allan Trammel going 5 for 5 in 1984 including the game winning hit in the bottom of the 9th. That was an impressive game.

Was it Renteria from the Cards that hit two Grand Slams in one inning (off the same pitcher)? That is the most impressive inning I can ever remember.

if you ask me the
Catfish Hunter's perfect game, 1968. Also went 3-for-4 and drove in three of Oakland's four runs.

is more impressive than kerry wood's

also didnt robin hit 2 grand slams in one inning for the sox a few years back? i might be mistaken
