In Barry Rozner's column this morning he talks about how Kenny is sick of commenting on rumors developed by bloggers. I was thinking about what I would come up with if I had a blog.

Maybe this:

Atlanta adds Derek Lowe to head a rotation rounded out by Javier Vazquez, Jair Jurrjens, Kenshin Kawakami and Jorge Campillo. Also, Tim Hudson is expected back by mid-season.

With Atlanta's rotation now solid and young pitchers like Anthony Lerew, Charlie Morton, Jo Jo Reyes and James Parr already at the Major League level as insurance the Braves should be willing to part with pitching. Also,The Braves have a half-dozen high ceiling prospects in the minors led by Tommy Hanson.

The only apparent need for the Braves now is a power-hitting outfielder. The addition of former Brave Jermaine Dye would seem to be an ideal fit to turn Atlanta into a contender in the East.

This seems like an ideal trade matchup as the Sox are looking for a young starting pitcher or two in return for Dye. Stay tuned.

Anyway, that's how I see it. If you had a blog what would you write about the White Sox? What reasonably legitimate trade/roster moves/signings would you predict?

No kidding. Trying to predict trades would be tantamount to me trying to predict the weather IMO.

I'd fill my blog with reviews of porn and naked actresses.

Blogging about good trade partners is one thing. Using your company's website or your journalist credentials to throw crap out there knowing good and well that people are going to read and react to the news as a true possibility is quite another.

Cowley is an assbag.

Ok, Kenny signs Manny Ramirez, trades Quentin to get Frank Thomas w/ giving Frank a 2 year deal, and trades Alexei and Jermaine Dye for Scott Podsednik. I don't know about you but that sounds pretty good to me! :D

I like your idea because the Sox need pitching, but Kenny is making me feel more and more like this is a rebuilding year. He seems to care less if the pitching staff is complete crap. :(:

I actually have one, but most of what I write concerns either what a pretentious ass I am for claiming some self-anointed authority on the team, how most media figures are getting something wrong, or how stupid trade rumors are.

Or how awesome I thought Jack McDowell was when I was 11.

Frank and Pods are both free agents, with whom would we be trading?

I would blog about White Sox fans with too much time on their hands during the off season.

I would blog about White Sox fans with too much time on their hands during the off season. You had to go there. I didn't know that about Pods, cause he was an addition to my point, I can care less about my accuracy on him, but I said trade Quentin to get Thomas... so that means trade him.... THEN get Thomas. So you got me on Pods, I just didn't explain myself enough for Thomas...

Pods... I don't like that.... he's Podsednik to me unless he's on the Sox. xD

Amusingly, I just blogged the other day about how boring the offseason is. If anyone actually wants to read my crap, they can click the link in my signature. :)

I'd call my blog "Juicy Sox" and comment on different Sox players fashions, cars, and pictures of them and their wives in bathing suits along with multiple A-Rod to Sox trade rumors.

My blog would be to fire Kenny and annoint our Craig Grebeck (not the real Grebeck) GM and Tragg as his assistant. Then they can waive Owens and Wise (maybe even burn them in effigy). However Grebeck wouldn't acquire anybody because EVERBODY SUCKS and is declining.:tongue::tongue:

None.

Thank you.

I said it at the beginning of the year and it just keeps getting worse.

Random dude on a blog throws some un-quoted, unsourced trade rumor. It's picked up by MLBtraderumors.com, gets argued about here and is eventually asked to Kenny Williams.

How ridiculous is that?

It's Kenny's fault for not giving us more to chew on.
