This was the first news story I saw on the ticker of the MLB Network. It said Bonds just had hip surgery with the intention of playing baseball in 2009. My response? You gotta be ****ing kidding me. He took 'roids for personal gain, everyone in baseball hates him, and he's been indicted. Who the hell would want him?

Hey, I want to play. But at 46 years old, I'm thinking I need to focus on other goals......

If Bonds is allowed to play again, then anyone else who wants to play baseball should be, as well. This guy's act has long since grown old. I hope no one is stupid enough to sign him.

OTOH, what exactly does Bonds have to look forward to?

Prison? He's going to get the crap kicked out of him.

Official retirement? He has no friends.

A 9-5 job? He wouldn't last a week, because no one could trust him.

I wonder if he's trying to keep Pedro Gomez employed, as that man seems to do nothing else but cover Bonds.

Hopefully, he won't be able to play as he winds up in a federal pen, his attendance at any games being untenable.

They do have a Cossell-Ali type relationship, don't they?

...now would be a perfect time to establish a MLB franchise in Las Vegas. The team could be called the Las Vegas Cheaters and field Bonds, Sosa, Palmerio, McGuire and Clemens just for starters. :D:
