Frank Thomas was featured on Pardon the Interruption this afternoon after he made a statement regarding a possible work-stoppage. I didn't hear everything Wilbon and Kornheiser were saying, but I get the sense that Wilbon, being the idiot Cubs fan that he is, doesn't like Frank much. I think he may have said something along the lines of, "Thomas is just trying to avoid being ridiculed by his peers." If this is in fact what Wilbon said, then he has lost my respect, at least temporarily. Frank seemed perfectly genuine when he said that baseball should extend the current collective bargaining agreement and refrain from bickering about pointless issues in light of the September 11th tragedy.
