Apparently, that's what the Yankees are doing. Bleacher seats will only be 25 cents (that's no typo), while grandstand tickets will only be $1.10, which was the same price when the original Yankee Stadium opened in 1923. Pretty neat idea for an exhibition IMHO. The only thing that will suck will be the sleazebags who will buy these tickets up, and resell them for like 100 dollars each.

Proof for the case that the Yankees are not all about squeezing their fans for every last penny.

Great idea. Love it. I'm sorry but I'm starting to like the Yankees more and more. Currently my top 3 teams are the White Sox, the Chicago White Sox, and the Sox. Milwaukee is 4th and the Yankees have crawled up to 5th.

Yeah...that should be me. I hate the Yankees and Cubs. I got some tickets to buy, and sell to some dummy stupid enough to buy them for 100's of dollars.:D:

So technically, the Yankees are your 3rd favorite team?

A $0.25 ticket in 1923 should cost $3.00 today.

1,200%? Really? Hmmm... that's interesting.

EDIT: I said 12,000% earlier but that was wrong. 3.00/0.25=12.00 or 1,200%.
