I can't believe there hasn't been a thread on this yet (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/news;_ylt=AlvM06pVt2s4q1t8u.f8vG0RvLYF?slug=ap-upgradingbats&prov=ap&type=lgns). Nice of MLB to conduct a study and then shove the bill onto the bat manufacturers.

Because they havent had an issue with it for the last 10 years. It is just recently a problem
