- Always enjoyed earlier in season when he would appear to be at a Metallica concert in CF
- Blonde, Blue and Pink dye jobs
- Is there a better community guy?
- Was always honest about his success and about his struggles.

Thanks for the awesome Fox intros Swisha-house. That grand slam against the Cubs and the walk-off vs. the Tigers was also pretty cool too. ;)

Thanks for lightening up things around the clubhouse, especially in the first half of the season.

Swish and Toby sure made that place alot more lively.

Thanks for the Captain pose. Otherwise, I am glad to see the end of you scratching your head after an obvious called third strike.

I was at the second best game arguably all year. The 3 run walk off in the 14th for Swish. That was awesome.

Same here one of my favorite white sox moments from 2008...one of my favorite games I have ever been to!

I will miss him because he was a good quality clubhouse guy.

Damn, I hope they don't go back to the mopes they were in 2007.

Dye, Thome, Konerko...all great guys, but they take boredom to a new level.

I really do enjoy the attitude that he brought. It was a bit more the fun in the game. I also loved the pitches taken, one of the highest per AB in the majors this year. I will never forget this season he had with us.

I was having a horrible day at work in the summer when I got an MLB text update saying Swisher had hit a grand slam off Dempster and the Sox were now up 8-0 on the Cubs. Thanks for that, Swish. I enjoyed wearing a jersey t-shirt with your name.

And for your Capt. Morgan pose. Classic.

Man, I'm gonna miss ol' Dirty 30. What a character. If only he could have hit...

Thanks for the crazy post-homer celebrations, especially high-fiveing your own poster(!):D: and the Captain Morgan poses with OC.

I enjoyed wearing a jersey t-shirt with your name.

I did too. I still might wear my shirt to some games because the Sox have always won when I've had it on. ;)

Good luck Nick! I still think you're a good guy, and wish it would have worked out better with the Sox.

This is the most upset I've ever been with a .220 hitter getting traded.

Thanks Swish!!! :gulp:

Dye, Thome, Konerko...all great guys, but they take boredom to a new level. This is my concern as well. The clubhouse antics was the second best thing this year besides winning the Division title.

Good luck Dirty Thirty!! I'll miss having you around.

Swish is one of the guys you want to see succeed. Go get 'em in New York. Tear up that short porch in right.

This is my best memory of Swisher.

Hey, if Swish makes an out in this at bat, then the Sox don't get a 163rd game and don't make the playoffs.

I know you could say that about every game won this year, and I'm not suggesting that Swish was great for us - because he was a HUGE disappointment. But, still, I thought that 14th inning game winner was cool.

I have that feeling you get where you sense that you will never really be able to say for sure exactly what went wrong, it just did.

Best of luck to Swisher.

Nick, despite your lack of talent and your crybaby routine at the end of your time here...you're still a good person and a community leader. I wish you the best.

I remember that as well. Span quickly grounded out to him; but, Swisher waited until Span was almost to first, then planted his foot on first with a ton of swagger while looking towards the Twins dugout. And those bozos deserved every bit of that after they acted like they won the World Series the week before in the Baggie Dome (especially guys like Span and that loser Gomez).

I'll always remember his Captain Morgan pose. I was surprised he never was able to fully "click" hitting in a pretty hitter-friendly park.

It's not you, it's me.

Thanks for having fun just playing the game and livening things up. The Captain Mo pose was awesome, high-fiving your poster was original, and not to leave out the facial hair and that fat lipper! Good luck in NY, don't let their stuffiness and tradition get you down. :gulp:

Oh, and the grand slam off of Ryan Dumpster was my favorite moment on the field.
