It's the gold glove awards. They're some of the most biased and undeserving awards given out.

It also seems that ESPN's sever is down.

I thought you knew how Gold Gloves work...the better offensive season a player has magically the better their defense becomes.

I don't think it's fair to give an award to a guy who plays every other day. Gutierrez didn't even play full time this year.

Mike Squires won the Gold Glove for the Sox in '81. He played less than 90 games at 1B.

Maybe a better example then of the huge joke GG's are would be Palmeiro winning the '99 gold glove at 1B playing there a whopping 28 games and DH'ing 135.
