The subway was closed down. Reason was too many people :?:

The CTA didn't shut down because of our World Series parade, and I bet they have half the amount of people at their parade.

That sea of red looks cool! I hope we see a similar scene next year on LaSalle, except with a sea of black... 'Blackout on LaSalle".

The Philly transit is the grimiest that I've ever seen. This is from a guy that lives in New York. If you don't catch a bus, then just take a cab. You'll feel better about yourself.

I agree. I had my worst public transport experience ever while in Philly just trying to get from the Amtrak Station to the Phillies game. This doesn't surprise me

The Broad Street Subway makes the Dearborn Subway look bright and cheerful.
SEPTA seems to throw everything into the commuter rail and ignores the city system.

Seriously though, the sea of red does look nice.
