The Tigers hired Rick Knapp, the minor league pitching coordinator of the Twinks for the past 12 seasons.

I like that this hurts the Twinkies, but I'm afraid it will lead to helping the Tigers develop prospects like Porcello, Perry, Fien, Cruceta, Dolsi, ect.

Might be a bit late. The Twins already have a young formidable staff with depth.

Yeah, it might take a few years for Blackburn, Perkins, Slowey, ect to cycle through their system so this move might not pay dividends vs. the Twins for a few years. It will certainly help the Tigers develop their young talented arms coming up in their system.

I don't see this move hurting the Twins that much...I mean I doubt this one man is the sole reason the Twins produce good arms.
