For Evan Longoria? We have a hole at 3b, and the Rays could use another reliver after tonights game!

Only if we get Upton, too. And Balfour needs to be sent over for a night so we can beat the **** out of him...then we'll send him back with Brian Anderson and a bucket of balls.

Just got off the toilet; fairly average experience in there tonight.

In all seriousness, as much as I hated that charade on the mound, If Balfour came here and pitched as sickeningly lights out infront of linebrink and Bobby, yah, I have a feeling he would get the AJ treatment in terms of Sox Fans Amnesia.

Except he wouldn't because he just had a career year. People will be saying, "Balfour who?" by the end of next year.

Are you kidding me - MacDougall has far more upside than Longoria!

The point is moot. Kenny Williams won't have the opportunity.

I get the joke, but does this really warrant its own thread?

No way. Everyone knows Ed Balfour would be great behind the plate. He'd stop anything.

I'd trade MacDougal for a flaming bag of dog ****.

If he could just harness his stuff, he'd be the best reliever in the game.

Some people just don't understand the conecpt of a joke thread, apparently.

I would only trade MacDougal if the Sox couldn't give him away first. He's about as useful as the coupons passed out at the gates when entering the Cell.
