Did anyone hear the parody last week of Eddie Vedder's Cubs song, "Someday We'll Go All the Way"? It was a White Sox version, except it was called "We've Gone all the Way" and talked about the 05 season. Did anyone else hear this song or know where to find it?

Good concept but horrible execution.

Horrible execution? Nah, I think the parody sounds spot on the original (lame) song.

Yeah, but I thought parodies are supposed to be funny.

That was pretty well done. I hate that song and ironically don't hear it around the office anymore, I wonder why.

I even heard Cub fans say that the Eddy Vedder song was one of the most godawful, depressing sounding songs they ever heard and were embarrassed by it. That song blew, regardless of whether or not it was about the Cubs.

That song blew because everything Vedder sings sounds like it's two steps from opening a vein.

It would be better if I could understand more the lyrics. Anyone have them?

That much is true. He's also a very odd little troll, who looks in desperate need of a shave, shower and new set of clothes from the Salvation Army.

I though it was good, could have been better. The dude sings better than Vedder, though some of the lyrics are weak. I give it 3 out of 5 stars.
