I know the post season is still going on, and the Sox are out but what 2009 games do you plan on going to? I know **** happens, and you might not be able to go to games you wanted to, but just off your head, any you really wanna go to? I plan on going to at least one game a month, which I think as an out-of-state sox fan, is pretty good. Heres what I'm hoping to go to:

04/27/09: SEA @ SOX
05/23/09: PIT @ SOX
06/11/09: DET @ SOX
06/24/09: LAD @ SOX
07/17/09: BAL @ SOX
08/17/09: KC @ SOX
09/07/09: BOS @ SOX
09/08/09: OAK @ SOX
10/04/09: SOX @ DET

I've been waiting for 7 years for the Sox to play in Milwuakee again, and of course, my sister-in-law is having her wedding that day. In Texas.

I base what games I go to based on the promotional schedule and how the team is playing at the time. I do about once a month, and I too am an out of state Sox fan.

Will Miller Park be US Cellular North?

For sure the 2009 WS home games at USCF. Not sure about the rest of the year.

The games on my Hit & Run week day 27-game plan, a game or two in Milwaukee. Perhaps a few others.

You'll be going to 87 then, because we know that we'll have home field advantage throughout the postseason and sweep each series.

Is it a 3-day wedding? If not, you can still go to a game.
Edit: didn't see the wedding was in Texas. I'm guessing you'll be there all weekend. Bummer.

Would like to go to Milwaukee (didn't make my annual trip this year), as well as see the Pirates when they're at the Cell. Other than that, have to see how things progress.

I've emailed my season ticket rep about putting together one of their Grinder Road Trips for that series in Milwaukee, and he thought it sounded like a great idea. He is bringing the idea to his higher-ups, and we'll see what happens! It would be cool if a bunch of us here could get on board for that if it materialized!

Goin to all 27 games on my weekend double play plan next year, plus hopefully at least one game in Milwaukee. Nice to see us playing them again.

As of today my annual trip to the Cell in July and the usual game(s) in Baltimore. If I'm fortunate to do more I'd like to do a quick Boston/NY Yankee swing.

Like others I would like to go see the Brewers when they face the Sox, but I'm also on planning to go to Minnesota in mid-July (IIRC) when they play the Sox. I dont know which games I will be attending at home

LOL. Yeah, it's on Saturday, so obviously travel Fri, wedding Sat, travel Sun. The whole weekend is toast. I told her she needs to reschedule, but no such luck. Maybe it's just because her fiance is a Cubs fan.

As for home games:

4/11 vs Minnesota (depending on softball schedule)
7/18 and 7/19 vs Baltimore
8/8 or 8/9 vs Cleveland
9/26 or 9/27 vs Detroit

As for road games, I hope to go to at least two of the three Sox @ Milwaukee games.

It's hard to make it up a couple of hours (have to take work off early) to make a 7 PM weeknight game and then hit the road about 10 PM. I'd go up and stay with a friend or in a hotel (especially with the gas prices) and go to games on back to back days.
