It was removed. I think I know what it was though. Did somebody put their Cub Fandom up for bid?

Looks like it was taken down, so I'm not sure what it is. Is this that guy who's auctioning off his Cubs loyalty on e-bay ? The Tribune ran with this story today in the front section, in their never ending quest to keep the Cubs front and center in everyone's mind, as they continue to run story after story in the editorials, entertainment, local and national news sections, etc. What will happen first, the Tribune will stop talking about the 2008 Cubs in all the other sections besides sports, or Mike Murphy will stop whining and complaining about this years NLDS results ? (Yesterday was CUBS DEAD + 3 days, and he was still going strong). I fully expect him to go another week with this, while the Tribune may, MAY give it a rest after this weekend, at least for one day.

This was really stupid but I don't think Ebay should have taken it down. Years ago I remember a story of someone who did not know what faith to believe in, so they put their faith up for auction and made like 500 bucks. I don't see the difference unless it was taken down for people making crazy insane bids like when the ps3's first hit ebay and went for like 99 million

Ps3 went for 99 million, are you sure?

I wouldn't bid because you can't trust the person selling. What if the cubs do well next year and make it to the NLCS, the person will be watching, especially if he/she had actually commited a good portion of their time to keep up with the team. People who are bidding are just giving their money away.
