How about towels that didn't throw little fuzzys everywhere. My beer had an extra layer of cotton foam last night.

I really liked the black towel idea. It was original. Every team does white towels and those plastic tube banger things. But, I do have to admit the affect was pretty cool at the game last night.

How about grey/silver towels?

Yeah, both my son and I came home from the game with sore throats. I thought it was from all the fuzz. The crap was really flying off those things. It was neat to see when the crowd was pumped up.

Me, too. Coughed all night. Looked amazing, but the fuzz was a little too crazy.

Anyone know if there'll be towels handed out for Game 4?

For people who watched on TV, did it even stand out that everyone was wearing black clothes? If the white towels got all the attention and people couldn't see the black clothes of everyone, then the "blackout" was pointless. But if you could still see all the black with the white towels mixed in here and there, then cool.

I personally liked the black towles better. It had a darker more intimidating feel, I thought.

How about grey/silver towels?I suggested that in an earlier redundant thread. I think that would look great!

You couldn't really see them, so I don't know how it was intimidating.

When everyone had them out in the 9th yesterday, it looked great. Go with the white.

Black on black was more intimidating. PLUS - can't help but associate waiving a white towel with waiving a white flag. No surrender!

I believe so. I think United Airlines is sponsoring the towels tonight.

I was at the game last night and the last out with the white towels waving was and incredible sight. It was like a snow bowl.

Watching it on TV, you could definately tell that everyone was wearing black. In fact, if anything, the white towels only accented the blackness of everything else! :D:

You couldn't really see them, so I don't know how it was intimidating.

It was awesome because all you saw was black, and you could see movement whether or not you could see the towels, so there was essentially a pulsating black mass surrounding the field. It was bad ass, and intimidating.

I liked the black on black much better, but I can see how it wouldn't look good without HD.

we had to sneak out of the game at the middle of the 8th yesterday,(not happy about it) and by the time we got on the Ryan, they were brining Bobby in. And from the Ryan, you could see everybody swinging the towels over their heads. Looked very cool.

Work out a system where you put a towel under each seat. Have black and white ones, with the white ones strategically placed so that when the people are waving them, it spells "SOX" in the middle of all the other black towels. :D:

The white towels on the black background made Comiskey look like a snow globe. Badass!

I'll be waving my black towel from last Tuesday night as I watch the game at home, just like I did yesterday.

Yeah, I know, kind of sad.

Waving towels reduces the sound caused by clapping. I'd rather have the sound.

I definitely vote for the black. The black towels on Tuesday gave us look and the feeling of a gigantic millipede waiting to engulf our opponents. Scary as hell. Id like to pair that up with a sound like a loud chirping cricket.
