Does anyone know why the TBS MLB log on the upper left of the screen has been green and red, as opposed to the traditional MLB log being blue and red? The colors are also in reverse position -- the red part is usually where the blue is.

Are they trying to make an environmental statement?

I know this is a trivial question, but my buddies and I were debating it this afternoon, and couldn't figure an answer.

Pretty sure they are getting into the "October" theme with this one. Red and green are fall colors, and the leaves say a lot right there. I don't really like it, but whatever floats their boat.

It was taken from the official logos for the LDS, LCS, and World Series (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=geezlh191dedl4nnlt5qyf48e). They have done this over the last few years. In 2005 (http://www.sportslogos.net/logo.php?id=2640), the logo used was brick red and blue.

I really like this year's World Series logo. Would love to have it on a shirt further down the road :praying:
