I'm way too young to have known this player, but has anyone heard of Sam Lannon? A friend of mine just told me that it was her dad's uncle and that he played for the Sox. I tried Googling him, but I got nothing.

Baseball-reference.com returns nothing for searches of "sam lannon", "sam lan", "s lannon", "samuel lannon", etc.

Maybe his official name is something different?
