TBS will use Dick Stockton on play by play tonight with Ron Darling and Harold Reynolds doing color.

If the White Sox advance Don Orsillo from Red Sox TV will call the games with Reynolds.

Stockton will call the Cubs-Dodgers and Chip Caray will do the Boston-LAA series.

Stockton fogets names too often, but I like his tone and voice.

I like Reynolds. Nice to see he's getting back on the national scene.

OTOH, Dick Stockton is kind of annoying. Better than Chip, though.

What is odd is TBS will use Brian Anderson on the Brewers-Phillies series given the fact he is the Milwaukee play by play man.

What is odd is TBS will use Brian AndersonI realize he won't see much playing time, but would Ozzie really let his best defensive outfielder do this during the playoffs?

That's because, if your name is Brian Anderson, you're immediately awesome.

Is this the former Angels and DBacks pitcher?

From what I have seen, I like TBS's baseball coverage from a technical standpoint...very clear picture, good camera work, ect.

Darling and Reynolds are ok and Stockton is a pro.

Please, sox, do not let this be your only appearance on TBS.

Stockton was very good when he did the NBA for CBS.

Stockton was the Red Sox TV announcer in the 70's, called the famous Fisk HR in 75 during the NBC broadcast. Then in the early 90's he was the TV voice of the A's when Monty Moore retired.

Stockton is a member of a very exclusive club as he has called all 4 major sports at a network level. He did the NHL in 1974 when Tim Ryan became illand also did the NHL on FOX in the late 90's.

I believe Marv Albert is the only other one to have done all 4 sports.
