I have been busier than a swarm of mosquitoes at a nudist colony.

My fiancee, God bless her, decided to bail me out of a two month commitment to see Wicked with her parents.

So far, zero productivity. Luckily, most in my group are Sox fans and we are all basically useless.

I work two part time jobs currently, one hasn't given me hours in over a week, and i have to work ****ing 6-1030 pm tonight . 4.5 measly hours at the worst time possible. Needless to say I won't be confirming anymore bull**** shifts for them in the next 2 weeks.

I don't think I've ever cared less about my Italian midterm on Friday. I should have skipped my first class for all the listening I did. Which is to say none. Is it 6:37 yet?

I'm a lot less nervous than I was in 2005. Lets face it: we've been here before, and gone much farther. If we lose, it sucks- but its not like we're on the verge of doing something we havent done in 88 years.

Back before 2005, I hated close games/series. I was happer if we swept or won a division by 20 games.

Now, its kinda fun. I remember in some perverse way last week actually wanting it to come down to this game. Over 3 straight games, we can single-handedly choke MIN outta the playoffs. At home.

Truth be told, I haven't taken my studies as seriously my first few weeks at school because of the Sox. I've got a three-page paper due on Friday and three exams on that day. I don't care though. When will I need to know about American Environment History in real life anyways? The Sox will be around forever!

Funny you say that.

I was looking at a sales produciton report for the last year for me, September '07 to April '08 I was the top producer for my region. April '08 to now I have dropped to the middle of the list. My boss asked me if things were OK, I blamed it on WallStreet.

I skipped class yesterday for the game. I really wanted to skip classes today as well to go to tonight's game but I have a test, of course which I should be studying for right now but can't.

I haven't been this excited for a game since game four of the '05 WS.

Today is end of the quarter, which is always a busy day for me. I have to work late tonight, but I will be listening to the game over the Internet and cheering on the Sox. I will be here alone after about 6 pm, so no one will hear me if I yell or see me if I cry.

If I really was in charge of that, we'd be in more trouble than you think. Plus, it would have to wait until the Sox are eliminated from the playoffs or win the whole thing. And then you would have to wait for me to recover. :D:

I'm not. I just told somebody I'm happy that my work is billed as a project, rather than by the hour, so I don't have an ethical issue about productivity today. C'mon, I'm in the middle of Twins Territory. I can't wait. I'm getting stopped by most folks in the office to get my take on the game.

Also, I'm starting a new job on Monday, so the motivation is low.

I'm planning out the game atmosphere menu for watching at home -- dogs, beer, nachos. You know, important stuff.

Go Sox!

I've actually had a productive day. I came in an hour early so I can leave early and get a head start. I've been lucky since a typical Tuesday isn't a huge workload, and it's even slower because of the Jewish Holiday. I'm much looser right now than I was in 2005. I'll be leaving Northbrook in less than hour. I'm ready.

I have spent more time on WSI today than I have in the past month.

I had a couple things going on this morning but this afternoon is pretty dead. Gonna hop the red line down about 4:45 or 5.

Between tonight and my stressing over my kid's first birthday party later this week, I'm not expecting much sleep.

I'm really trying hard to not let that happen to me on Monday. Awful time for an exam with a playoff game tonight, homecoming MSU football game tomorrow vs. Iowa, taking a friend to the airport in Detroit Sunday morning and then Sox playoff game Sunday afternoon . . . and then Linear Systems and Control exam at 9:00 am monday. yuck.
