The White Sox said this morning they are making available at noon a limited number of standing room only tickets for this evening's tiebreaker game against the Minnesota Twins.
The tickets are priced at $45 and will be available only on whitesox.com.

The team is calling on all fans attending this evening's game to wear all-black in support of the team. The team will distribute 40,000 black "Sox Pride" towels as fans enter the ballpark.

The game will start at 6:35 p.m., with gates to the ballpark opening at 5:15 p.m.

It's going to be a NUTHOUSE in there tonight. I think ALCS Game 2 was the loudest the Cell has been since I've been there. I think the WS wasn't as lous b/c of all the corporate and mlb people/non-fans.

Tonight may rival that game. Please don't forget to wear your black. I can't wait to get in there.

Isn't it behind the bleachers on the concourse? That little chained off area?

That's where our SROs were for the park-opener in 1991.

Interesting. May depend on where you were sitting. I was in the way left field corner of the upper deck for ALCS Game 2, and I don't remember it being particularly loud. I was in the left field outfield area for WS Game 2, and remember it as deafening.

Light it up tonight, ladies and gentleman. I wish I could join you but the plane tickets on 24 hours notice are a little expensive. Make us out-of-towners proud.

The loudest I have seen it was the first game against Boston in 2005...we had the white towels waiving, it was like 85 degrees in Oct, every was happy and pumped.

Can anyone confirm? If so, I think that's a great deal to be on the lower level on the Concourse for such a big game. UD tix all over are going for 75-100 per.

Are they going to bring in the Port-a-Johns like they do for OD? Otherwise its 30 minute waits for the bathroom in the outfield concourse! Oh well, will just have to drink less beer

Taylor Homes still there, why not!

Why not use the Fundemental Deck for Standing room too.

MY guess is they'll limit the outfield concorse to those with seats in the outfield. Much like they did with the Cubs/Sox series this year.

That is a good idea if they do it in my opinion. (Mostly because I have outfield seats and don't want to be waiting forever to go to the bathroom)

Don't start.

No bitching about bathroom or concession lines tonight.

Eat at home or outside if you can, and if you drink, wear a diaper.

We need 40K in those seats at every pitch of the game. (unless for some reason Ozzie calls on Boone Logan, at that point, everyone leave).

You can still get single SRO seats. If you need two just get one twice, they are general admission.

Are you allowed to smoke on the concourse?

No. You can't smoke inside the park.

For those of you who have SRO tickets but still want to sit, I'd suggest you get to the ballpark ASAP so that you can snag seats on the Fan Deck. I highly doubt they had time to organize a party up there for a game that wasn't regularly scheduled.

BP Sports Bar is good too, however not as many people know about the fan deck in CF.

I would not be surprised if those were sold already as an actual seat (like in the play offs) or the Sox are giving those as comp tickets to front office employees.

No. You can't smoke inside the park.

I know. I incorrectly assumed that the teal was implied. I thought the thread was going to spin into the usual lower deck is too packed because upper deck ticket holders come downstairs fight. And then it usually spins into why can't we smoke, we're outside.......
