I'm not in Chicago so I can't constantly keep with the news but is there any update on TCQ? Could he come back for the playoffs? Wasn't he ahead of schedule?

On the post game show they said the earliest return would be for the ALCS. He can't even use two hands yet to swing a bat properly.

Highly doubtful he will return for a couple of weeks if at all based on lack of progress reports. If Sox make the Series...maybe an X factor.

He's scheduled to take batting practice on Thursday with the hopes of possibly being ready for the ALCS. Of course, the Sox need to get to the ALCS otherwise see you in March, Carlos.

TCQ looked good in BP yesterday, sprayed liners all over.

Ya I was watching him in BP yesterday as well and he did look pretty good and it didn't look like he was giving full effort....

They indicated he would be hitting curves vs the machine today before another live batting practice session. Sounds to me like he could actually have a shot at the ALCS if the Sox get in...sweeeeet!!!

I'm watching the Pre-Game show right now. They said Carlos was looking good in BP and would probably be ready for the ALCS. Couple posters above said that, but I just heard it also on the TV.
