Selig ruled that today's game was the propery of ESPN not TBS.

So for those in the Northeast that don't get WGN you can still watch.

We may be here for awhile.

As well as the rest of the country not in the Chicago market.

They are showing the game on the WGN Superstation. I live in Cincy, and I'm getting it right now.

I know others in other markets get WGN. I specifically bolded the "for those in the Northeast" part, because there are other regions in the country too.

It's odd to me that's it on both the Superstation and ESPN2.

WGN is not carried by most cable systems in the Northeast as years ago Tribune fed WPIX New York instead.

Oh, ok, my apologies.

Maybe WGN already had rights to televise one of the games already?:dunno:

You'd rather listen to Jon Miller, Chris Berman, Steve Phillips, or one of the many other shleps that work for ESPN? Suit yourself. I'll take the Hawkeroo and hope I hear plenty of "YES!!" calls today.

Does anyone know if this game will be on ESPN radio (national)?

Berman or Phillips, never. But I like Jon Miller.

The difference to me though, is HD. I'd rather watch ESPN2 and put up with bad announcers than get Hawk, who I like, in SD.

The only one you got right is Phillips.

The other 2 are Hersheiser and someone else doing play by play.

Go ahead and put up with Hawk if you want, he has brought nothing to the coverage over the last 2 weeks other than emberassing stupidity.

And for those with just internet access it will be on ESPN 360. You have to install a plug in for the video player, but it will be shown live on there.

 Awesome! But I'm surprised that MLB would allow it.

Again, only if your ISP pays for it. Comcast, for example, does not.
