Doom and gloom fills WSI and the South side. Who's showing up to actually finish this season off?

I'll be there rooting my ass off for a Sox win and Twins loss. That's all it takes, folks.

Put the head hanging, jump off the ledge attitude away for a day and let's get after the Indians.

Despite the collapse last night, my son and I will be there again tonight and a winner will bring me back Saturday and Sunday. They're not out of this thing yet, and I plan to stick by them all the way 'til the end.

I'll be there. Taking my nephew to his first sox game too. He's from KC, so maybe I'll get some Royals mojo on the scoreboard too.

Make some noise people!!! For all those people who lost out on playoff tix, get your butts in the seats!!! If this place isn't sold out all weekend, I'll be sick. This IS the playoffs.

Yeah, Son-of-tebman and I will be there tonight. Bought my tickets last December as part of my Ozzie Plan package, thinking the Indians would be fighting the Sox for a division championship. It turns out they are, but not in the way I thought it would be.

I stopped watching the game last night when it was 6-4. I'd seen this movie before and didn't care to see it again. I'm hoping that tonight these wildly inconsistent ballplayers wake the hell up. Simple things: short bat strokes to get hits, keep pitches down, advance runners, etc. These guys used to know how to do that.

I'll be there. It may feel like a wake but I will be there. And if they win I'll be there the next night. And so on.

It's going to be a tough home stand though. For fans that is.

We have beaten Cleveland in six games against them at home this year. Let's keep that trend going. GO WHITE SOX

This kid going tonight seems to have some good stuff.
Lets hope our failure with new pitchers doesnt haunt us tonight.

Like maybe a hit before the 4th inning.

I and the fam will be there, Kosher Zion red hots and churros at the ready as we look for a little bit of down-to-the-wire pennant-race magic from our White Sox.

I'll be there, my university was giving away 5 dollar tickets. The game is supposed to be sold out; I wonder if anyone's not going to show because of last night's loss? I really want a hot dog.

Bring us a win tonite guys........hope Davies continues to throw the way he has in last few starts.......never know, may be tough for the Twins to keep the energy up after the last 3 days........have a feeling that the Sox will light this Lewis guy up, 1st road start I believe,

Do me a favor, when they take the field tonight, don't be an idiot and boo. If you see anyone booing, tell them they are morons. Thanks.

There's always a few. I hope the fans get into tonight from pitch one.

Tied in the loss column with four games left. This is no time to sit on your hands, no matter how bad the Sox have played this month.

I hope it's the exact opposite. The Sox need to know we're still behind them. They take the field and everyone should be outta their seats screamin their heads off! :D:

I would have to think the crowd will have that uncomfortable feel to it. The last time I remember that was September 05, the Crede walkoff game. The Indians were closing the gap, and we lost a heartbreaker to them late in the game during the series. Crowd wasn't full (but still had a nice buzz) and even during the game, the team was going back and forth with the Indians, but it was almost like a 'happy go lucky' type of atmosphere and the Sox pulled through and basically cemented themselves into the postseason, so many moments in that game followed by Crede's HR, one of the games I won't forget.

Agreed on all counts. I won't be there tonight, as I'll be at the Blackhawks' preseason game; but, if they make it to the make-up game on Monday, I'll trade in my 9/12 ticket for that game.

I have tickets for tomorrows game.

I'm wondering what the crowd is going to be like tonight. Is it going to be like "a wake" as someone else mentioned.... Or is it going to be electric with the fans knowing tonight is a must win to make the playoffs.

I'm just wondering if fans outside of WSI have given up.

I think if we get down early, it could be a really ugly game in the stands. If we play well and take a lead, things will get electric.

The 26th man definitely helps. Forget about our trip to Minnesota. It is time to move on. New series. WHITE SOX have bounced back all season. This season is going down to the wire.

Yep, a pumped up crowd could be just what this team needs right now. Be proud, be loud!

Anyone going to the games this weekend needs to get loud and get on their feet for every exciting play, just like they did in Minnesota. If anyone behind you yells at you to sit down (that's happened to me), turn around and then motion with your arms for the whole section to stand up, and keep doing it till everyone's up, including that idiot.
