Ok, so I'm walking to work today and wishing that I had some way to send a happy gram to Mark and the rest of the team. I know they're professionals and say they treat every game the same, but it has to be hard when they're not getting the love from their fan base while on the road.

So I propose this thread to be the official "go get 'em" thread for this game.

Let's go White Sox! Clap, Clap ClapClapClap!

Buehrle has cajones at the Metrodome. Who could forget his Mother's Day performance in '06 when his defense let him down and he gave up a ton of unearned runs that led to the Twins being up 7-3 after the first. The Sox came back and won that game while Buehrle was absolutely lights out the rest of the way. In my opinion, the single most defining start of Buehrle's career.

Mark only ended up with one earned run that game in a 9-7 Sox win, and he pitched his ass off for the next 5 innings of shutout ball.

I feel good about Buehrle tonight.

Hope he gets run support

Or how about July 26, 2003 when Mark was in the midst of his worst statistical year playing a good Twins team and pitched a complete game, one earned run W at the Metrodome.

Baseball-reference.com shows Buehrle as having a 10-6 record at the Metrodome with a 4.16 ERA. I should feel good about him tonight. After Gavin tamed the Dome earlier this year, there's no reason we shouldn't win one game in this series.

Don't pitch to Redmond.
