If you think the Sox haven't been playing well....
Brew Crew have gone from 5.5 games up and a virtual lock for a playoff spot to 2.5 games back and soon-to-be toast since the start of the month. Two years in a row with an epic collapse down the stretch.

What a shame for poor Milwaukee, and this is their last real shot too.

There are a lot, not all, but a lot of Brewers fans who got all high and mighty this year about their team and their amazing playoff run.

When your team hasn't been to the playoffs in 25 years, and you have never won a world series, I would think it might be more prudent to have a reserved confidence in your teams chances.

Karma is a bitch. I'll be heading back to Milwaukee the next few weekends, and I will thoroughly enjoy rubbing this is a few peoples faces.

They still have a great core of young players, all they need is a little more pitching to be in it for the long haul. Oh well, there's always next year right?

Replacing your manager in the stretch run of a tight playoff fight was the dumbest thing that's happened in baseball in a while. Maybe since the "White Flag" trade here.

And that awful loss to the Cubs sealed their fate. I've always liked the Brewers and had hoped they'd screw up the Cubs' plans, but regretfully I must say this: They gone!

They are not a good baseball team.

The Brewers have had their chance to prove themselves and they've failed. I no longer consider them a legitimate threat.

Its just like last year. The Cubs hit a rough patch in September yet somehow EXPAND their lead in the division because Milwaukee's skid is always worse.

Isn't that weird? And then to top it all off, this year they fire their manager, too. Talk about a really bad situation at the office -- can't imagine what the screwed-up dynamics at that organization must be like right now.

I kept saying that the Brewers look too much the 2004 Cubs. When they were picking fights with other teams, fighting each other, having bitch fits about how a game is scored. They both have the same ending. Which also sucks for us because Matt LaPorta will butcher us for years.
