Seeing that blue W everywhere is literally making me sick. :puking:
I'm starting to see it in a lot of windows, and it's making me wanna stay home. We need to start a new symbol for the Sox, with the sole purpose of pi$$ing off every Cubs fan in Chicago. Maybe a big black 2 .. symbolizing we're about to see #2 in our lifetimes.

Living in the area, those W flags, which have only become immensely popular in the last 2-3 years, are possibly the new most annoying thing about Cubdumb.

After the Cubs lose in the first round, the W flags will be gone in a couple weeks.

I agree. I fly my large White Sox World Series Flag on my porch and never get tired of looking at it. I know it bothers my Cubs fan neighbors too because one day they were out for a walk and I was out on my porch. They stopped and looked at my flag in disgust and told me that I should take it down because "that is old now and they didn't win it last year". I politely told them it is staying up there forever and I'll leave room for another championship flag in the future. They just rolled their eyes at me and kept walking. Regardless of what any Cub fan may tell you, that 2005 championship really burned them up. Cubs fans self-entitlement doesn't allow them to believe or accept that we beat them to baseball's ultimate prize. That World Series flag trumps any lame "W" flag every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Goggle did not have one that could be copied that was more like ours.

Anyway, the Cub fans would not notice the Yanks' logo, they would be  at what this trophy represents.

I saw a condo in Mt Prospect next to a bakery I go to have one hanging from his balcony.

Just like the one at the traditional Big League park, fully sewn bold letter (NOT dyed or printed). Show everyone your favorite team lost a hard -fought game today!

A friend came to me the other day with an idea to save all Cubs memorabilia that you might find. I started by saving the front page of the Trib sports section when Zambrano threw his no-no...he thinks all of these papers (Cubs winning division, etc.) will be worth a lot in a few years on eBay...and we know that the Cubs have a huge fan base, so if you want to make some $ down the road you should keep these items!

My only problem is that I never see anyone wearing the L tshirt after they lose. I only see them wearing the W shirt. I even saw a guy wearing the W shirt after the Cubs had lost their sixth game in a row.

Let's make a reversable shirt so they can change it after the cubs lose To be honest I like that they have a tradition that they have been doing for this long, traditions are cool...that said they should have never stopped flying the "L" flag, if you are going to continue a tradition do it right

IMO if every team has a W flag, shirt, hat in their team colors this would limit the strong reaction to a certain teams' W.

My neighbor (across the street) has one he hangs in his front window. I'm pretty sure he just does it to annoy me. One of those L flags would be nice to have, but I can't bring myself to spend the money on something like that. I'd rather have the cheap, not sewn version for about 1/4 of the price.

Can't the sellers get In trouble for putting "Cubs" In the listing header like that? I would think that they may be Implying that these are In fact Official Cubs merchandise?

When my sons see the flag, they play word association. What starts with 'W' - whiners is most popular with them.

I, too, find the whole W flag phenomenon extremely annoying. Although not as much as "Go Cubs Go". But at least I don't hear people singing that as they drive down the street. Seriously, why no L flags when they lose? You can't have your cake and eat it too. Also, the division/pennant/WS champs countdown is annoying. Too bad it's just going to roll over like an odometer.
