Just got home and saw a package from the Sox. It is a mini grill that folds up into a little Sox cooler.

Awesome sound.

Parking Lot?:macho:

Anyway, this was the 2008 season ticket holder gift. Well, for me anyway.

Anyone else get one?

A grill that folds into a cooler? Sounds perfect for making some hot ice.

The grill "basin" is basically a pot. It has little fold out legs and comes with some little tongs. The cooler part is insulated and fits in the "basin". So you could throw a few dogs and buns with an ice pack in the cooler part, have some charcoal in the bottom and have yourself a little grill out.

It is clearly the best grill ever made.

Where does one use a grill at a Sox game?

Via DHL today, a Hibachi type grill/cooler in a canvas sox bag, like a knapsack.
Really cool thank you sox!!!

I was thinking this was only going to go to full season ticket holders and not us split plan holders; but, lo and behold, a box was sitting on my top step! I've already opened it up, and the thing is awesome! What a great concept! And it's got a huge Sox logo on the front!

Thank you, ticket office!

I hate the Cubs and everything about them but I love the movie rookie of the year. Brigma telling Henry to get some Hot Ice.

A nice surprise when I got home.

I saw this big DHL box with the return address "Chicago White Sox" and thought to myself "What the **** can this be?"

Pretty cool!

Such a solid movie just because of Daniel Stern. The rest is pretty lame, but really you can't help but laugh during some of the parts.

Here are 4 pictures I took of my gift. I placed a visine bottle for size perspective. When you zip open the top, there's a pocket to put something. I'm planning on giving it to someone as a gift. I have no practical use for it, but it was a nice surprise yesterday. I have the weekend plan. I was wondering what full plan got and was surprised to hear it was the same thing.

In the words of Mike Royko "Ubi Est Mea" Where's mine?

My Cooler/grill yet hasn't shown up yet. Are they still delivering them? Should I call my rep.?

I'm getting tired of running out to the street every time the DHL truck goes by.

Mine has not arrived yet, nor has the Scout Seat guy in my office gotten his. Our "big box" of giveaways arrived long after the initial shipments went out, so they must be on the same schedule.

That was last year's gift to Blackhawks season ticket holders, although with Hawks colors and logos obviously.

It would have been nice if they included a bottle of KC Masterpiece. I think we all have a taste for a little KC Masterpiece this weekend.

Hey, I didn't stay up all night thinking that one up!

I have a little better in my fridge right now. I have a bottle of authentic BBQ sauce from Jack Stack BBQ, a restaurant in KC's Plaza neighborhood.

I think it's actually kind of stupid. How can you grill without a top? It doesn't make sense.

I guess nobody got my attempt at humor. I was referring to the KC/Minn series this weekend.

Uh, we don't want a KC Masterpiece. If that's what we get this weekend, then we lose.

Jack Stack rules KC bbq. Oklahoma Joe's is a close second.

Have you ever had the baked beans from jack stack?

Oh my.
