Sox @ Twins series

Per Yahoo, Liriano won't start next week against the Sox. The Twins are worried about his elbow and starting him on short rest.

The Indians rocked him last night, but I still think it's a good thing that the Sox aren't facing him.

Thoughts?

They're not playing the Sox this weekend, though. The Sox/Twins series is next week TUE, WED, THU.

Sox play KC this weekend.

We don't have a weekend set with them. He would have faced the Rays on Sunday and missed us altogether. Unless he would have gone on short rest Thursday, in which case I could see them skipping him from that.

Magic number will be at 4-maybe 3 when the Twins' series starts next week.

Wednesday: Buehrle vs Blackburn
Thursday: Floyd vs Slowey
