I know this may have been discussed before. I tried looking it up in the search engine, but what is the scar on JD's face from?
I saw somebody said something about a hunting accident. Just wanted to know if there was a definitive answer.

I remember hearing he fell out of a tree stand while hunting and fell into bushes.

I tried using that line with my wife when I came home all cut up from the bar last Saturday.
No dice.

No, no. It's a scar from when he had his undeveloped conjoined twin removed.

There was a thread back in 2005 about this. He has never said what it is from and does not talk about it.
I guess we'll never know.

And does it really matter anyway?
I think it's cool. Makes him look tough.

I remember hearing a radio interview with him a couple years ago when he discussed his scar.
I don't recall what caused the initial scar, but his family had a history of developing keloid scars so he opted to have some sort of surgery.
I know that doesn't help much, but that is all I can remember.

Apparently he decided against the surgery in 99 unless I woke up in the past.....again.

Groundhog Day is a bitch.
Vin Scully discussed this topic during the Sox series in LA. As was previously posted, the scar is from falling into a thorn bush.
