The Indians activated Victor Martinez and DFA'd former Sox legend Andy Gonzalez (as per MLB.com). Do not even think about suggesting . . .

Yes!
Just in time for roster expansion!
This will put the White Sox over the top!
Come on Kenny, pull the trigger on this one!
:D:
I find that I have a major similarity with Andy Gonzalez. That being that neither of us should be playing major league baseball.:redneck

Maybe we could also re-sign Ryan Buckvich, Mike Meyers, Rob Mackoviak etc. They are all available! It would be kind of funny if the Indians go on a 10 game losing streak after they DFA'd poor Andy.

All I care about is that they reactivated Martinez. Just in time for a series with the Sox. Great.

I wonder what will happen to Kelly Shoppach, he's been a beast in Martinez's absence.

I'd rather face Martinez at 90% than Shoppach at 100%.

I think Eric Wedge will still throw Shoppach out there about 3 times a week between Victor's off days and days where he will DH. After the rosters expand and another catcher is added, Shoppach will probably get pinch hit at-bats as well.

I loved the people here last year that defended him... those posts were so great.

We traced the IP addresses for those posts to the Indians' front office.

There were people this spring suggesting he was going to go on to have a great season in Cleveland and the Sox would rue the day they cut him.
Guess not...

Speaking of a roux, I've never been able to figure out how to consistently make one. Rather difficult.

Just butter and flour but you got to get the temperature right or you'll burn the butter.
