Gonzo you tool! No other newspaper in the country would list a player's former team association (http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/baseball/whitesox/cs-080825-chicago-white-sox-baltimore-orioles,0,1952334.story) in a story about the Sox. Well done, keep the corporate synergy going.

Read this slowly: IT'S A CHICAGO NEWSPAPER!!!! Don't you think they could list if a guy played in Chicago for either team? My god....there is a media bias but lets get over every little thing being perceived as an injustice.

Dig up a story about somebody hitting a grand slam against the cubs on Friday- I'm betting will be a "former Sox". And they guy who gave up the slam- also a "former Sox". Yeah baby

Yeah, he's going for a local angle in the story, that's a good thing.

Now, for a guy like Rocky Cherry, the PA guy could play the theme from Rocky as his entrance, that would seem the obvious way to go. I thought it kind of funny when they played Eagles of Death Metal's "Cherry Cola" when he came in to pitch last night.

Fourteen would've been a pretty good %.

Eagles of Death Metal were a fun rock band a couple years ago. Had some catchy songs, but came and went pretty quickly.

Did they really? That is awesome.

They haven't disappeared though. They actually just finished recording a new album.
