Ah, so you have to hit the checkmark to post a poll... I'm new to this place and still getting my feet wet.

2008 White Sox- very good team. Greatness is determined in October...and I look forward to this team showing us what they can do.

Truest statement of an early thread.

What kind of a poll is this? They're either a good team or the greatest team? (what, greatest in the division? the league? ever? what!?) You left out a lot of options bud, plus it's about as loaded as a poll can come.

The Sox are a good team in a weak division. Great? No, not this year.

I forget who just said it in the post game thread, but the Sox are playing their best ball of the year right now and I agree. How do I feel about them right NOW as in the way they are playing this very moment? They are the best in baseball.

We're just trying to have a good time, narc. Why do you want to destroy us?

Sorry, I forgot how volatile most sox fans are. Win a game = best team ever. Lose a game = season's over.

I'm definitely pumped with how well they are playing overall, especially the offense as compared to early this season.

Do you know how intimidating it has to be to pitch to this lineup when everyone is playing up to potential?

:)

Guilty as charged, but the real question here is... Have you been safariing since before I was born?

I'm not sure exactly where he's pulling it from, but its similar to a routine Stephen Colbert does where he asks someone about an issue, war, person and asks them if that particular thing is great, or the greatest.

Usually gets some funny responses.

Anyways -- The Sox have a chance to be a great team if they keep up the good pitching and stellar offense. Lets hope the next month and a half go smoothly.

I was also a little :gulp:last night when I posted this.

The question remains... How great is this team? Are they a Perfect 10 on the Greatness Scale, or merely a 9.9? Inquiring minds NEED to know.
