What's that for? and why do I only have 2 weeks to pay it?

Never Mind! I got HOOOOOOOOOOOKED UP on the PS Seats! I'm sitting in section 103 Row 16 for the World Series this year!!!!!!

You're in the same boat as me, although I did have an Ozzie plan in 2004 and a couple of patio parties in the 2 years before that. I got some real nice seats!

I have tickets listed for all of the series in the invoice and I have the same plan. Came out to $800+. My tickets seem to get better the better the Sox do in the playoffs. I kind of like that.

The renewal option part is confusing. No means you keep you tickets for next year, Yes means you elect to not keep your seats.

Here is what they say in the 2008 Season Ticket Holder Playbook about post season tickets:
Category 1- plans purchased prior to October 5, 2006.
Full season-option to purchase up to the same number of seats in your account for all potential postseason games. Your seats for the postseason will be the same as your regular season location.

Hit and Run/Double Play Plan (27 games)-Option to purchase up to the same number of seats in your account in best available location for all three potential Division Series games, one Championship Series game, and one World Series game. (This sounds like your plan).

I just took a look, thanks for the headsup. As someone else said, thank god for credit cards. $3k. WOW. ;) Its a welcome bill though.

Anyone else find the language extremely misleading on the 2009 renewal option???

yes = cancel my seats

and

no = i want to stay a season ticketholder.

aren't we taught in business school the power of yes??? I have read it 10 times (there is a nice explanation) but still worry about clicking off "no"

I'll hang up and wait for my answer.

Yeah, I have run into the same thing. I have a full plan and my dad has a 27 gamer. He put it on my account to make things easier. I don't have anything yet, but I imagine I will in the next day or 2. If you get to Friday morning and don't have anything, I would just shoot off an email to your account rep to find out what is going on.

We will get there, only a matter of time now.

'04 and '05 seasons I had both a weekend plan and a weekday plan (54 games) w/ 4 seats. I only received 3 ALDS games for '05, Game 1 of ALCS, & Game 1 of WS. Had I split my season ticket packages into 2 accounts, I would have received DOUBLE the tickets for each of those games.

Never keep multi packages under the same account number.

You might be able to put up a fight with your ticket rep and get the extra tickets for the smaller package, be it that you pay the extra cash or it.

I had the most useless Rep at the time, did not respond to my e-mails or calls pretty much until the Parade.

I think me and a buddy are going to plop down some money and purchase season tickets for the rest of this year and the season deposit on next year, so we guarantee ourselves at least one ticket to an ALDS, ALCS, and WS game. Have Hit & Run Sec 159 2 seats
Post Season
ALDS - Sec 522 Row 10 - 3 Games - $300
ALCS - Sec 529 Row 18 - Game 1 - $160
WS - Sec 533 Row 20 Game 1 - $350
Parking, S&H - $175

We're supposed to be able to go to our White Sox ticket account, view the individual upcoming games, and be able to click a box to sell the tickets. Mine doesn't have it, and even now the website says "Selling tickets?
Soon you will be able to post your tickets for sale through My Account."

They have a demo on how it's supposed to work, but it doesn't look like it's activated.

Pretty funny how fouled up the StubHub thing got because they claimed everyone would get it at the start of the season, then they said when the season started it would be available in the coming month... and here we are in August.

Mine is 1195 for bleachers. I have heard it's double that. That sounds about right though? Anyone else in bleachers?

Don't know, but my rep said that all the mail invoices were going out yesterday (wednesday).

No, I am a full season ticket holder and my invoice isn't up yet either. I think all invoices will be up by EOB today.

I have 1 seat in the Hit & Run plan (section 149) and am getting charged a total of $530 for this! Yikes!

I've been given all lowers for the postseason:

ALDS Section 155 ($165 total)
ALCS Section 115 ($115 total)
World Series Section 115 ($225 total)
"Handling Fees" ($25 total)

I still have my 2006 post season tickets. I was full season in Sec. 112. Prices:
Tie breaker $46.00
ALDS $55.00
ALCS $100.00
World Series $200.00
Total $2,822. This year total $3.050.00, about an 8% increase from 2006.

That is what I have to pay for bleachers. Why are they the same? Shouldn't mine be cheaper?

I think they send us an invoice closer to that date, if it looks like we might have to deal with a tie breaker.

I dunno. I have not seen a breakdown of the games like others are reporting. I guess I'll see tomorrow when the invoice arrives.

I do not have my invoice posted either. My rep (Scott) emailed me something along the lines that they wanted to be sure everything was correct before they posted the invoices. I am getting nervous though, they screwed me on my seat location, and I do not want to get screwed over on this too.

I asked my rep for the breakdown. With the prices he gave me, there was no cost for the tie breaker game.

You will get the tie-breaker tickets with your playoff tickets. If it is played, you are billed for it after the game.

Spoke with my rep, he said that the tiebreaker will only be issued if needed. And again, billed after the fact.

I have premium upper box seats behind home and each 11 game strip of tickets cost me $1170

The plan that I share with Dad got moved around for each round of the playoffs. Looks like upper reserved is $40 for the Division series, Upper Box is $80 per ticket for ALCS games, and World Series is $175 per for Upper Box.

There is no breakdown for the Full-Season plan, just the amount above.

Does any other full holders have a breakdown???

for the Jim Beam Club it's 300/325/350 for alds/alcs/ws. I know in 06 I was billed up-front for the tie-breaker so I don't know why not this year.

No need. Twins have only 12 home games left.

Do you think you're entitled to sit downstairs? You have to think that two other people share that seat. Just be happy you're in the building. I sat in the way upper deck for the two ALDS vs Boston in 2005 and thought it was awesome.

I never stated that I was entitled to anything. However, when others on this board with the weekend plans have LD tickets, I was hoping that I'd at least have one series in LD.

Who's the 2nd person I share a seat with? Hit and Run, Double Play, ????

Good upstairs seats or bad ones? I would consider swapping my row 33 in the corner in the lowers if your uppers are good. I really don't mind the UD from time to time. It gives me great angles for photography compared to where I am scheduled to be sitting.

If you want, and of course, when (if) they make it, we can talk about possibly switching up tickets for a game or so.

I wouldn't trade any of those UDs for lower level corners.

I always thought it is not fair to call those lower level corners LD Box and price them that way for regular season games when they suck more than anything in the upper deck between the bases at 1/2 price of those bad seats.

The UD has a stigma, that doesn't mean its correct. The LD always is easier to sell than the UD. no matter the relative locations. I'm glad the Sox price it that way. Fans who know the deal get a relative bargain to sit in the good UD seats, more casual fans can sit in the harder to see LD sections for more $$$

I was thinking the same thing. In 2006 I was in Lower Box 111 row 15 which wasn't bad, but 110/109 in the corners should be priced as lower reserved.

Agree. Anything past the security ball guys should be priced lower. Those seats are awful for the neck even with the so called angled seats. Put me in the bleachers before I sit at those corners.

On occasion I'll sit with friends in the LD. It's great within the dugouts. As you get farther down the lines, IMO, the seats farther away from the field (as opposed to the front rows) are mostly better in terms of being able to see pitch location, which is key for me. Where I sit in row 2 of the UD, I can see everything. Never have to consult the Tivo afterward because I couldn't make out some play, whereas that happens all the time in much of the LD. And yet my seats are cheaper. The lower resale value doesn't bother me because I don't resell many.
