Perhaps the only player to get beaned more often than TCQ.

I've been starting to wonder if Carlos will eventually break the all-time record.

Well deserved. He's one of the most underrated players of his generation.

Biggio showed me something when, during the World Series after his wife was harassed and slapped by a lone fan at the Cell, he coolly downplayed the incident, saying it was the act of one idiot, and not a reflection on the city of Chicago or White Sox fans in general.

A great player, a sure HOFer, a fine ambassador for the game.

I lived in Houston for much of the time that he played with the Astors, and Biggio was a great player on the field and wonderful person off of it. Congratulations Biggio--you deserve it!

Thanks Craig Biggio for dropping the easy pop-up in game 2 of the 2005 World Series!

All kidding aside, congrats... a true professional and great ball player!

Always admired his heart for the game. He gave up his position more than once to help the team. True HOFer and ambassador for the game.

Biggio was a great - have 10 Upperdeck rookie cards of his that I made a point to buy 10 years ago on the cheap b/c I had a funny feeling about him - kinda like climbing the rope in gym class. . .

Seriously though he was selfless player that did whatever the team needed him to do - except of course wash his helmet.

Craig is one of my favorites of all time. How many years until the Hall induction? :D:

It would be really nice to see Biggio and Bagwell go into the Hall together, but I wonder if Jeff's standing is a little hurt by some of the steroid allegations/rumors flying around.
