He's just a beast...

I don't know if he's got #1, ace-type stuff, but he's definitely got "tremendous #2" type stuff.

Where's your B. Mac now, bitches!

He sucked today and still got a W. That speaks volumes.

He sucked today and still got a W. That speaks volumes. How the hell is 1 earned run sucking? He threw the right pitches at the right time to get double plays. There were no diving defensive plays behined him, he just pitched himself out of his jams. No, he wasn't himself... but he was far from suckage. :?: I know what ya mean tho. xD

I think since Danks is young he's not experienced enough to be an ace, but I am he sure will be for the Sox :bandance: or some other team. :whiner:

The normal Danks doesn't throw 100 pitches through 5 innings and give up 7 hits while he's at it. He got really lucky today.

He's 23 years old and one of the better pitchers in the league. He's definitely a keeper.

I'd want the Sox to play in Oakland 9 times a year...

Danks hasn't lost on the road since May 4th and he is 4-0 against Oakland in his career, so we would be guranteed a couple wins as long as he pitched :D:

Just listened to Danks being interviewed on ESPN Radio's Game Night about an hour ago while I was driving in to work. Sounds like he's got a good head on his shoulders and he held his own quite nicely with his answers.

Have you been following the White Sox over the past eight years or so? How many times were you happy with the Sox after they play in Oakland? They have won SEVEN GAMES IN OAKLAND STARTING WITH THE 2000 SEASON. They have lost well over twenty games there during the same period.

Still want them in the Central? Give me the Royals any time.

Since 2000, of the teams the Sox have played 10 times or more, they easily have the worst winning percentage against Oakland.

I want the A's to move to the National League.

Talk about the polar opposite of Buehrle... WOW! Oakland is his own personal House of Horrors.

Shouldn't the title be, "Danks is an A's kicker?" Where is Daver on that :redneck

He did not have good command today but he is one helluva battler. Just a tough-minded young man who is a max effort pitcher. Hope his brother is the same way .

Can you, or anyone else who agrees, explain this. I never really understood this comment. Is it b/c he's subject to a 2 game cold streak here and there? Or is it something else?

Danks has been our most consistent starter this year, and he was in the first half of last year as well. He's only 23 and I really hope the Sox hold on to him. With him and Buehrle we really have two of the best and most reliable left handers in the league. There's not a team out there that wouldn't make room for Danks in the top of their rotation.

I thought that was Gavin Floyd? :D:
