Who else is willing to roll the dice with Lance Broadway?

Jose Contreras is going to be gone for at least a full calendar year, so I'm wondering what the best option would be to fill that spot.

I think that Lance Broadway should get every start in that spot while Contreras is hurt. Let's see what we have in this guy.

If Broadway is effective, a young core of Floyd, Danks, and Broadway, with Buehrle still under contract for 3 more years to be the veteran anchor of the rotation, that looks pretty damn good in my opinion.

I don't know about dice, but I'd gladly roll a curveball or two with him if only he weren't so damn good at it.

I'm willing to bet he'll start Tuesday against Seattle then get sent back down again for bullpen help. With an off day each of the next two weeks, the Sox can go with 4 starters on normal rest, and they will need extra BP due to the Orioles makeup game on the 25th. After that the rosters will expand Sept 1st and there is no worries. We'll see if they give him a shot after the Seattle game to pitch in Sept.
