YES!!! With the way the calendar falls next year, this will be the first year in the last four that I won't have to leave SoxFest very early on Sunday morning because of work demands!!!! :bandance:

Over the past couple years, they haven't sold just day passes; only weekend passes (Fri.-Sun.) have been available to those who purchase a weekend package at the Palmer House. Otherwise, it's two-day passes (Sat. & Sun.) that are available to the general public, and I think those went for $75. I know that's what the price was for the weekend passes for people who reserved a hotel room for the weekend. Gone are the days of the four weekend passes being included with the hotel package, ala the Hyatt.

For as long as I can remember, and I've been going to SoxFest since 1993, the hours have been: Friday: 4-9p; Saturday: 10a-5p; Sunday: 9a-3p.

and I'm guessing most people stay the whole time?

Usually, yeah. For the price people are paying to be there, most try to get their money's worth.

Actually Sunday seems to really thin out around noon. Last year Friday was also nice because it was only hotel guests.

I don't know how I forgot about this, but I did. And you're right, Friday at SoxFest last year reminded me of SoxFests of old, circa 1998- it wasn't overly crowded and that's actually when I knocked out a good chunk of the autographs I wanted. That benefit is actually one of the positives that has come of the "new" SoxFest since it got moved to the Palmer House, and I hope they do this again next year.

Friday was the best day last year, my only real complaint about Soxfest last year was the limited number of vendors...I really hope they get some more this year! Anyone know where we will get ticket info...it has to be pretty soon I seem to remember buying tickets in early september...

Also, I don't remember from years past, but how early in advance do they put out the schedules as far as days/times of the autograph session? Early November? Early December?
