View Full Version : Homestand Hopes

I was looking through the schedule for this upcoming home stand and i believe that the White Sox should (based on their record at home) win 2/3 against Detroit, 2/4 against Boston and they NEED to sweep KC.

That would put them at 7-3 for the home stand.

I predict the Twins will go 5-4 maybe worse since they only play 3 of 9 in dumpdome.

That would put the Sox in first place for the series in Oakland. I think the key is staying in first or within a game until Thursday the 21st when the Twins go on their 14 game road trip!:bandance:

Right now, the Royals have me spooked...they hit better than the tigers and the red sox. I say the sox need to catch the tigers cold right now and bury them with a sweep and then take 3 of 4 vs Red Sox and 2 of 3 from KC.
8-2...thats the ticket....but I would take 7-3 or 6-4...

Since it is easter seaboard propaganda network rules that if we don't win all 4 from the red sox that it means we will never be as good as them....

But really I would like to see us win all the series and if we are to split boston i'd be fine with that.

Homestand hopes? Well, I hope we go 10-0.

I'm not going to make any predictions. Last time we had a thread like this we all talked about how we were going to punk the Tigers and sweep the Colorado Rockies. We ended up losing five of six.

Let's just win the ballgame tonight.

This homestand has 10-0 written all over it.

Yea, what is the deal with all of this 7-3, 8-2 crap?

What they need is to start playing with some consistency, and start making better pitches.

I think 8-2 would be great. 6-4 would be a disappointment
