You could probably make one with a potato sack and some chalk.

j/k, they were pretty cool actually, just looked "thick"

I just did a Google search. You can get a similar hat here (red lettering instead of white):

However, they don't have the jerseys.

I thought Uribe looked like an Oompa Loompa with his blond beard and his PJ's!!!

I'm curious, what happens to these uniforms after the games (all non-standard unis that is)? Auction for charity, guys keep em, save for next year, etc.? Anyone know?

This brings me to ask, which Sox player looked the best in those jerseys?

I thought it looked great on Quentin, personally.

Which Sox looked worst in them?

Coop looked awful in them. I think Hawk and DJ even commented on it.

The funniest one was Ramirez. He looked like he wore is pajamas to the game. I bet those where like a Extra small and still fit him big.

Yeah...not a good fashion night for Coop.

I thought Cabrera looked worst. You don't wear a 1920's uniform stacked on your shoe tops.

They looked awful. Hurt my eyes.Oh, I liked to old-timey uniforms. I just wish all the players would wear them the way they were intended to be worn. If you're going to wear uniforms from another era, you should not stack or spat the pants.

It looked like Bobby Jenks had just escaped from a Prison...in the 1930's.

Coops was hysterical.

It looked like he cut the legs off midway between wearing them as long pants and pants with the high socks.

Hawks description of Coop as looking like Babe Ruth was priceless...LOL.

Agreed. I laughed out loud seeing Coop walk out of the dugout. I'm probably in the minority, but aside from Coop, I loved these throwbacks.

I bet an oompa loompa could hit better though.

He reminded me of Curly from the Three Stooges episode when they escaped from jail.

Those things were definitely something to see. Nobody looked especially good in them.

I know we didnt win anything in 77 but I would love to see those old softball uni's back for a 70's night.

It looks like the Tigers auction off opposing teams Negro League jerseys in their official Auction Zone at MLB.com.

I don't see any of the ones the Sox wore this year, but they have a few from the past, though one has to be bought in a lot of 3; the other two being Tigers jerseys. :whiner:
