Alexei's Age

Alexei's age is listed as 26 years old, turning 27 in September (9/22/81). Is he pulling a Contreras here? If so how old do you think he is?

My guess is that he's taking 2 years off. I have no real basis for this other than, "why wouldn't he?"

I would say he's added on about 15 years. Alexei looks like a kid when he's at the plate, it's ridiculous :D:.
