What do you guys think will happen? Hourly forecast shows T-Storms between 6 and 7pm, then mostly cloudy the rest of the night. This front isn't moving very fast though...

hopefully not. But if I have to get a little wet while watching the Sox crush the Royals, I'll be fine...but if they cancel the game...I won't be pleased.

DJ, we had 4 days of sunny weather here during the break and, doesn't it figure, as soon as the Sox get back we get rain.

Gonna get nasty by me. Got a tropical depression popped up out of nowhere last night rolling in off the coast here in ENC. Hopefully it doesn't take any deep drags off the warm inland water or it will take a jump of magnitude. Now it will just be a series of bad thunderstorms. Hopefully it doesn't turn into a tropical storm or worse...

from the looks of the forecast and fronts....
it's gonna be a long night at the ball park

i think we'll start in a rain delay and then it's up to how the winds swirl....but my guess would be rain out.

i don't know if it's pouring in chitown but in NWI it's been raining on and off pretty hard for the past 6 hours so....i doubt the field will be able to handle any rain close to the game so.

this is tom skilling jr. signing off. stay dry sox army

I disagree. The main front has swept through and is in to Michigan, the only remaining rain is little patches that pop up here and there due to the weak frontal boundry to the northwest which is moving southeast towards us. Doesn't look like there will be any huge downpours, but if there are they won't be lengthy.

Tom Skilling Jr. #2 signing off.

drove down from St. Paul Friday, It took over 7 hours with 2.3 of those 7 spent inbetween Schaumburg and The Palmer House Hotel. Then today it rains in the morning/afternoon so we went down Michigan Ave etc, but didnt really enjoy it. The only thing that can brighten up this day is a Sox Game/Win.... We gotta play

Very weak. It's done raining for the most part. Maybe a stray shower or two but nothing that would ruin a good tailgate with Miller Light.
