Granted, Fox has the MLB contract until the end of the 2013 season. Despite all of that, would you rather have Fox or NBC be the network of Major League Baseball?

I just do not like Fox, period.

Anybody but FOX. I'm so sick of all those camera shots of fans in the stands hanging on every pitch as if it was the 7th game of the World Series.

I don't think it matters, we'll find something wrong with NBC too.

Anything to get rid of all of those screeching metalic noises that Fox makes throughout the course of the game...plus Bob Costas does a good job.

Definitely. No matter what channel the games end up on, they'll feel the need to "make the game more exciting," as if people who willingly sit down and watch a game don't find it good enough.

That's an awesome network. Unfortunately, my favorite show has been discontinued, and they're just showing re-runs at its normal time Sunday nights until the end of this TV show season. :(:

I voted for NBC...Anything to get rid of ****ing Jeanne Zelasko.

Agreed. We don't need a 30 minute pregame for World Series games.I can't remember when I saw a ceremonial first pitch shown live on FOX.

I voted NBC, but I was voting for the National Broadcasting Company baseball coverage I remember. I should be careful what I wish for: if NBC got back the rights to MLB games, they'd probably try to do it like Fox because they'd assume that's where the money is.

Swooshing sound effects, dancing graphics, absurdly tight closeups, endless chatter, superfluous new camera positions (Gopher Cam!), pumped and compressed crowd noise, BRIGHT colors, and carefully-staged coolness. That's what I don't like about Fox's MLB coverage.

Other than that, it's okay.

nbc owns that network

Football on Fox is good. Baseball is another story and sucks on Fox.

The only reason I went with Fox is that it is the only station I get in clearly since I don't have cable. If it goes to NBC I wouldn't get to see any Baseball on TV.

But if Charlie Rose & Gwen Ifill won't do the games, send it NBC, and see what you can do about bringing back Tony Kubek and Joe Garagiola.:D:
