Matt Ginter had not pitched in MLB since 2005 (http://www.baseball-reference.com/g/gintema01.shtml) but he picked up a win today for the Indians (http://sports.yahoo.com/mlb/boxscore?gid=280712105), beating the DEVIL Rays.

He beat someone in the division, so good job.

No, he actually got the win for Cleveland.

Whatever, the Indians are a non-factor this year, so it's nice to see him back in the Majors. Plus, if they're really relying on Matt Ginter, they truly have thrown in the towel. Ha they don't even have a Yahoo! Player page made for him yet.

Five innings and five strikeouts? Dammit Kenny, why'd we let him go??

The Tampa Bay fans are probably whining about how their team couldn't hit a no-name starting pitcher for five innings.

The Indians looked like they had simply given up,even traded their best pitcher to tell the world they had given up. They lost 10 straight, and the Rays came in to town and proved to be the team that colder of the two teams.

People have been excited about the Rays, in part because of the general loathing many have for the Yankees and Red Sox. A natural default is to hate teams that go out and try to buy baseball championships (unless that team is the Cubs, but I digress.) The Rays don't play nearly as well on the road. Saturday the Indians threw Ginter out there and beat the Rays, who appear to be on their way to third place.
