Matt Cain has 6 ks and 2 walks through five (with one hit which was initially ruled an error by Ray Durham but I guess "Sweet" Lou called the scorekeeper to complain).

Geez, I just looked at Fukudome's numbers and they are going down month by month, .264 in June and .171 so far in July.

Yeah, I have been watching him take some awful swings lately. He seems to be falling behind in more counts. Without power numbers, his contract is way too high. Man am I glad he turned our offer down. Dye's resign looks really good now.

Fukudome looks TERRIBLE flailing away(yeah, that's EXACTLY what it looks like) at breaking balls well out of the zone once he gets to strike 2.

I hate Aramis. I'm amazed he hasn't gotten drilled after doing that "Hey, look at me, I hit a HR! I'm AWESOME!" trot.

What's funny is, Len and Bren will whine when an opponent hot dogs. They completely ignore that they have two of the biggest hot doggers in the game in Zambrano and Ramirez.

I've noticed that...jesus the Giants are AWFUL! Len of course acts like they just won the World Series.

God damn I hate them.

Know what I hate worse.........how they stay in coverage to show the crowd singing that stupid ****ing song......

Of course the coverage is incomplete with out the drunken scantly clad trixies swaying back and forth:rolleyes:

Man, what a pile of garbage the NL West has become. This Giants lineup is simply pitiful.

EDIT: I hope Rowand enjoys that 5th year on his contract, because the next four will feel like a prison sentence.

If it bothers you, why do you stay tuned?
I can understand watching a baseball game even if you don't like one of the teams, but once the game is over, and you know the Cubs have won, and you know they sing that song (and the cameras stay on the crowd), why doesn't the remote get a workout?

I can't help it, I've been in the house since my ACL surgery on the 24th.....

Monday I can finally drive.

Then I won't have to sit home and subject myself to this....

I had hip core decompression surgery a month ago and am trapped as well.

I can't stand Len and Bob anymore.

Agreed. I don't like sing-alongs in any capacity, really. If I'm watching the game on TV, I change channels. If I'm at the game, I use the 7th inning stretch to go grab a dog/grab a beer/handle "other business".

I've got a six pack of Leinie's Summer Shandy in the fridge for the game tonight. Thought I'd try it since it's hot out, even though the flavored beers aren't my thing (but I find some of them are refreshing in this weather). :D:

And he's so not a clutch hitter. Seriously though, look around the league and you'll see this is not something specific to the Cubs. Milton Bradley, Carlos Lee and Manny Ramirez make Aramis look like a saint. If Aramis is the Hot dog, those three guys are the Mustard, onions, relish, celery salt and hot peppers.

Heck, even JD hops when he hits a long one.

There are few people who put their head down and run after they hit one anymore. But Aramis (along with Manny) blatantly shows up a pitcher. While JD does do a little hop, it's not very noticable and almost looks like part of his follow through, as opposed to Aramis who will stop at homeplate and watch the ball for about two seconds then slowly trot down to first. The worst of course was Sammy.
