As far as retired players Kirby Puckett wore #34.

Current players that wear #34 are Juan Encarnacion and Ramon Martinez.

Plus you have Sweetness on your side.

A lot of pitchers wear #34, including Nolan Ryan.

I can only tell you that "THE" 34 is Sweetness himself, and he was a heck of an athlete all-around.

I wore #22 for high school track. Does that help?

You can move this reply to the parking lot, but I had to tell a story I remember from his playing days...

There was a story from one of the offensive linemen from the late 70's. The O-line is lifing weights in the weight room and Walter walks by. The linemen start lauging and saying stuff like, "Hey Walter, come on in and show us what you got. You think you're so strong, come lift with the big boys." Walter walks into the room picks up a barbell with 298 pounds on it, presses it three times above his head, sets it down and walks out. I don't think he got too many comments after that one...

Harold Baines #3 + Luke Appling #4

5615 combined hits...not too shabby. :D:

I think Richard Dotson was # 34 . a good Sox pitcher from the winning ugly team.

You had numbers on your track uniforms? We don't.

What are you talking about, Doub? You quoted George as saying he wore number 22, not West. Step away from your paper!
