I find this really funny because their GM is a huge Cubs fan.

Jackhammers/Flyers is like the Cubs/Sox of the Northern League except nobody really cares. LOL
Joliet is like the SW Sox and the Flyers are the lovable losers who play in a stadium modeled after Wrigley Field.
Someone should open a pastry shop across from the ballpark. Carlos as a client (alone) would be profitable.

Castillo was the mope who made the comment about not booing the fans when they were working in the fast-food industry.
Perhaps when he's in Joliet, he can fill out an application at McDonald's.
From the majors to the Northern League - enjoy the humility.

Didn't someone on The Score give him the nickname "Lumpy" when he was on the Sox ?

Paul Konerko and Carlos Castillo once had a foot race. Konerko won.

I saw Fat Carlos pitch last night. 5 R and 12 H in less than 7 IP.
Carlos is now approaching Alex Fernandez in Florida weight.
As for Slappy...he still slaps the ball.

I didn't see Castillo when I went last Tuesday in Schaumburg, but I did see Caruso play and he looked great

My wife liked Carlos because he was the only pitcher she ever saw who had hips bigger than hers.
