And how many impatient people on WSI were screaming for his head a month ago?

Come on now, he looked downright AWFUL early on in the season.

Come on now, he looked downright AWFUL early on in the season. He sure did, but you need to give a guy a little time to get used to a new situation. You don't throw a proven major leaguer to the wolves over an opening bad month with a new club.

He's also been playing at a position he's more comfortable at playing. I'm glad he's been doing well in Konerko's absence. Ozzie has some tough decisions to make when PK returns.

I want PK to come back healthy and immediately start hitting the cover off the ball: sharp singles up the middle and to right, line drive doubles off the wall, and homers to left and left-center.
I'm just glad the Sox have not only been able to withstand his slump and absence, but indeed have flourished: Four guys are on pace to hit 30+ homers and none of them is named Paul Konerko. Given that, he's almost superfluous to this team now.
