This sounds like a Seinfeld episode.

C'mon, guys, it's just Manny being Manny!

Yeah, are we going to continue to let his erratic behavior go because it's just "Manny being Manny"

I love that in sports. Carlos Zambrano is clearly either bi-polar or has extreme ADHD... but no... it's just that "LATIN FIRE" or "HIS DRIVE TO WIN"

Manny shoved Costanza??

That would be Willhelm. George was the assistant to the traveling secretary.

Anyone else find this laughable that he could this; yet if I did that to someone at my workplace I'd be suspended/fired?

Kind of like how Chacon got released?

Yeah, but Chacon wasn't getting the job done.

Manny is a first ballot HOFer, Chacon is not. Plus doing this to the GM and traveling secretary is a little different. You can't compare the two situation, two different players against two different people of the organization. Not defending what Manny did, but don't expect anything to happen to him just because Chacon got released.

... and I was chastized last month for saying "big ****ing deal" when this turd hit his 500th home run.

Sorry, but a turd hitting 500 home runs is still a turd.

Yes, it's ridiculous.

Actually, I think you can compare the two situations. In any other workplace, the shover would have disciplinary action taken against him. There really aren't a lot of situations where you can put your hands on another person and be completely justified.

I wasn't suggesting Manny should be released, but he should be punished and fined. I think he should be suspended. What happens next time the 25th man on the roster pushes him? You just have to let him go.

Screw Manny, they let him do whatever he wants and the sheep fans think he's funny. It's just like Sosa.
