... how the series sweep of the Sox exposed them? The Cubbies are on the verge of a sweep, the best they can do is win 1 of 3. And since the sweep of the Sox at Wrigley the Cubbies have lost 4 of 5.

So, will that local scribe, who was right there to pounce on the Sox, write an article about how the Cubbies have been exposed?

hell know.He will write how the Sox are lucky because Zambrano is out. He will say that Dempster was due for a bad game. He will never write a positive article on the Sox and or a negative article on the flubs.

And I'm not thinking of the ST columnist banned from WSI. It was some other local scribe who pounced on the Sox last week.

Well, that narrows it down. :D:

Thanks to the comments, it was Couch that I was thinking of. Look at these headlines from his columns (http://www.suntimes.com/sports/couch/index.html), jeez you'd think he wrote for Cubs.com.

I thought you knew that it was Couch but you were playing coy.

And I need not remind you of all he wrote on the Sox last year.

I wasn't giving you a hard time for not remembering, but rather it felt like there were a dozen or so writers who jumped on the Sox last weekend, so I thought it might be hard to narrow it down to just one. :D:

On the radio broadcast yesterday they were commenting how the Cubs will be under .500 in interleague vs the AL. I wonder if anyone will comment about that as well.
