I think someone brought this up during the game thread. I saw Kerry wood doing a double middle finger toward a fan or someone else in the bullpen right before Quentin's home run in the 7th.

Anyone else catch that, it was pretty much right there for everyone to see, though I had to stop and rewind a couple of times to double check I wasn't seeing things.

I just checked the archived replay of the game. It happened at the 2:38:18 mark. He's clearly flashing both middle-fingers. I hope someone from MLB catches this and suspends him.

I knew Kerry Wood had something in common with Robert Fick. Other than the fact that both completely suck that is.

Give me a ****ing break. He was in the bullpen. It was just bad timing.

It was just funny.

Completely agree. They just happened to cut to a shot of him right at the moment he was flipping someone off. These things happen in live sports broadcasts sometime.

Ever notice how many F-bombs are captured from the court mics during an NBA game?

Actually, I found it much more hilarious that when Dye hit his HR today, you can hear a Scrub fan say "Oh, no" on the Fox broadcast.

Then we'd probably want to get ready for MLB to suspend Vazquez as well.

Sunday night at Wrigley during warm-up long-toss in the rain, he was throwing crotch chops out to the left-center bleachers. He did it at least three times, getting a huge response from the crowd.

Email Brooks about it.

This weekend I've heard some choice words from OC on the television.

"That was probably me."

As for Wood flipping off people, I don't think MLB should do a thing to him. It happens, and I bet our players have been just as guilty of such behavior.

I was doing the double flip to Vazquez until he was finally pulled from the game.

They might give him a small fine for getting caught but that's should be it.

Maybe just a fine in their kangaroo court, at least that's my guess.

From the angle he was facing, towards left centerfield, what fans would he have been flipping off? Wasn't it probably someone in the Cubbies BP?

He was probably just a big fan of DX. Someone in the crowd must have asked his favorite wrestlers from the late 90's.

No big deal, but if it had been a Sox player Mariotti would be all over it.
